This film is definitely in the Public Domain. The copyright date and certificate are visible. There is nothing new and I got the film several years ago.

Thanks in advance for moving it to Feature Films. The run time is incorrect, it runs for 1:33:59 When using the non flash version, it always messes up the time.

I hope you got the film I uploaded on 12/4/12 as that is what I used to replace the film I removed.

:)

Ellen

Hi Jeff,

I always have difficulty uploading films to the Archive. My internet connect drops and I am not using wireless.

The last version of Johnny O'Clock is the full film.

I will have to take a look at Black Fury because the last upload was the correct film.

Do you have any suggestions for uploading to the Archive? Any particular time of day? I upload .avi files as they are smaller.

I will attempt Beat The Devil, Fighting Caravans, Stage Door Canteen, Second Chorus, and The Santa Fe Trail. These are all rips and the quality is far better than what is here. The Video Cellar will eventually get to them and restore them but the rips are really very good. I will include the URL of the post but when I want to edit something like the run time I see no place to save the changes.

Thanks,

Ellen

I believe you can correct stuff like the run time when you edit the page. Thanks for posting.

Indeed, I just was confused as the edit page is so long I did not see 'Submit'!!!!!

I am glad you are enjoying the film. It is one of my favorite Muni films and I have all of his films!

Thanks for taking the time!

Ellen
